Oh washing machine
How you shake and rattle
Every once and a while, wheezing
Straining beneath your load
But you never complain
At least not while I am within hearing
And for that
I have to say
You are my best appliance
For you keep my clothes nice and fresh
So I do not smell like wombat dung
So thank you thank you thank you
Oh beautiful work of machinery
You work all day and well into the night
Just to save me some time
For I could wash my own clothes without you
But it just wouldn't be the same
Oh washing machine
Oh washing machine
How I adore you
You make my life
100 times easier, if only water were free.
